This is a translation of the concluding section of the author's book concerning the nature of contemporary Neo-Marxism, its impact on the individual and its role in social governance. The author focuses on the cultural roots of economic relations and how a ruling elite has promoted cultural decay to entrench its own economic and political power. Specific attention is paid to the concept of "theft" as understood in the modern finance capitalist economy. The author applies Catholic Social Thought as a critical heuristic and offers strategies for resisting what he terms "anti-culture".
Krzysztof Karoń has an academic background in the history of art. He was an advocate of Catholic Social Thought in Poland amongst various patriotic and conservative youth organisations. He was the author of The History of Anticulture (2018) but sadly passed away as this inaugural issue was being typeset.
All footnotes and annotations that appear in this translation are added to the text by the translator.
